Summer heat
Summer heat presents challenges to both adults and children.

Youngsters are particularly vulnerable to dehydration in high temperatures.  So it is important to protect your child's health when the thermometer readings are  high.

Know the symptoms of dehydration which include:
·         dry mouth and tongue
·         no tears when crying
·         high fever
·         listlessness or irritability
That's why the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, a not-for-profit organization, and healthcare professionals nationwide recommend drinking plenty of water in order to stay well hydrated and healthy during the summer months.

Alabama Spay/Neuter Clinic

Puppies and kittens are cute but it’s tough to you find them good homes. Many end up on our streets or in animal shelters. Did you know that one female cat and her off-spring can result in nearly 400 cats in just 3 years. That’s why it’s so important to spay or neuter your pet. It helps our community by reducing the number of homeless animals PLUS it will help your pet live a longer, happier life! Most pets are calmer, more obedient and  affectionate after being fixed. Male dogs are less likely to roam and bite. AND no more heat cycles for females. Alabama Spay/Neuter is a high quality, low cost spay/neuter clinic and is now open M-F and is taking appointments. Please call 205-956-0012 to set up your appointment today.  Call Alabama Spay/Neuter Clinic at 205-956-0012.
